Help & Manual comes with a fully-featured graphics editing program called Impict. This program is designed specifically for editing and enhancing screenshots and other graphics used in help and documentation projects. Since Impict comes with its own comprehensive help this topic only explains how to start the program and how to open graphics files for editing in Impict from the Help & Manual editor.

Several of the functions described below only open Impict if it is set as your default image editor. This is the default setting when Help & Manual is installed.
Alternatively you can also select any other graphics editing program. Then most of the functions described below will open this program instead of Impict. |
