Revolutionary new user interface

Built around the revolutionary new Microsoft Office ribbon interface, Help & Manual 5 is even more intuitive and will give your productivity a significant boost.

The new interface features beautiful large icons, dropdown galleries for quick access and clear command buttons that are not hidden somewhere in a menu where you can't find them.

H&M User Interface

The ribbon is context-sensitive, so the commands that are relevant to what you are currently doing - for example working in the Editor or the new Project Explorer - are displayed automatically. Very frequently used commands can be added to the new Quick Access Bar above the ribbon and users who still prefer a more compact style of working can minimize the ribbon if they want.

Project Explorer

The Project Explorer provides access to all the components of your project, including the table of contents, your topic files, other project files and all the settings and templates associated with your project.

Integrated context sensitive editors

On the right-hand side of the main window, context sensitive editors are embedded according to your current selection in the Project Explorer.

Whether it's the topic editor to write content, a configuration dialog or an overview list to group, sort and filter project files, the information is always exactly where you expect it to be.

For those of you upgrading from Help & Manual 4, please take the time to read through the Upgraders' FAQ before getting started.
